This Is All I’ve Ever Wanted

The trees glisten

We collectively listen

Patterned yellow and green

Share a strangely common theme

As they fight restlessly in the air

Fight for the memories we will share

Sour chemicals free the mind

Suspends and tears the rind

Exposing beneath the chest

At the heart who knows us best

No care in the world

This is all I’ve ever wanted

Sway, swing

Don’t worry ‘bout a thing
